DFGA REUNION WEEKEND 2026 SCHEDULE

Join the DFGA Reunion Weekend 2026 to reconnect with shipmates, enjoy golf and socials, and shape the association's future at the AGM. It's a chance to honour Field Gun traditions and relive the unique camaraderie that defines our community.

 

Devonport Field Gun Association Golf Day

The Devonport Field Gun Association Golf Day will take place at the China Fleet Club in Saltash on Friday 3rd July 2026, with a muster time of 09:15, photos on the first tee at 10:00, and first tee-off at 10:16. The day includes coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes of golf, and various prizes to be won, making it a sociable and competitive event for association members and supporters.

 

Entry fees are £15 for China Fleet Club members, £35 for serving personnel, and £40 for ex-serving participants, with all payments made in advance by bank transfer to the Devonport Field Gun Association and no cash accepted on the day. The closing date for entries and payments is Friday 26th June 2026, ensuring all teams are confirmed ahead of this highlight of the association’s 2026 reunion programme.​

Tri-Command Reunion 2026

The Tri Command Reunion taking place on Friday 10th to Saturday 11th in Portsmouth promises to be a memorable gathering of former and serving personnel, celebrating shared experiences and enduring friendships. Friday’s events aboard Ship Anson will offer a unique opportunity to reconnect in a fitting naval setting, while Saturday’s programme at Fratton Park provides an iconic venue for the main reunion activities. Together, the two days combine heritage, camaraderie, and reflection, creating a meaningful occasion for all those who have served across the three commands.

Tickets priced at £25 per person for Portsmouth Command are now available through the Website Shop and Devonport & Fleet Air Arm Associations will be making similar arrangements for their members. Click on the logo for the link to purchase tickets.

Each Wednesday we meet at 1000hrs in The Field Gun Lounge, it's a great opportunity for us all to get together regularly.

 

All association members are invited to attend. Good food, good coffee, good company, and very importantly a GOOD LAUGH!!

Please can we all try to attend this fabulous event, we will be pulling our field gun and limber and cannot expect our carers to pull it for us!

​ ​​​​​Command 100 Golf Challenge

Annual tri-command golf challenge which is hosted each year in turn by all commands.

Hosting in 2026 is the Fleet Air Arm Field Gun Association.

Northern Field Gun Reunion 

There is an opportunity for Field Gunners of all Commands and partners to attend a Joint (Northern) Reunion in the Tiffany’s Hotel, Blackpool from Fri 15 to Mon 17 May 2026.

Please contact the hotel individually to make your reservation on 01253 313414, select option 1 and you will be in contact with the Booking Manageress ‘Koula’ who will take your booking and request a £40pp deposit (the excess is paid on the day you arrive). The price for the 3 nights bed and breakfast and five course evening meal is £151 pp. For anyone that only wants to book 2 nights Friday -Sunday the price is £116 pp; a Sea View Room supplement is £7 pp. I hope you will give serious consideration to supporting this event.

The Association Social Diary provides members with a convenient way to keep up to date with upcoming events, reunions, and key dates throughout the year, ensuring no important occasion is missed. It serves as a central hub for maintaining the strong sense of community and camaraderie that defines the association, highlighting opportunities to reconnect, remember shared experiences, and welcome new members.
